APPROACH
- Modelling study to assess the hydrodynamic mixing behavior of reject brine with sea which is governed by the interplay of ambient conditions of sea & discharge characteristics of the brine.
- MIKE suite of model was used for secondary dispersion based on the bathymetry, current and wave data to study the mixing pattern of the reject brine discharge into the sea and to identify the appropriate brine discharge location.
